Froyo Music Player Crashing with Market

So, I'm trying to give the stock Moto Froyo music player a chance, because I haven't been overly impressed with the 3rd party alternatives. Main reasonn I wouldn't use it before because it wouldn't sort tracks based on the ID3 tag. With that now fixed, I'm using it a little, but have now completely crashed my phone to the point of a battery pull, once while searching the market, and once while downloading something from the market. Anyone else experiencing this?
