To first answer your amazon question, no you won't lose them. They are tied to your account. Once you reinstall the amazon app store and sign in, it will tell you you have apps you need to download. I've been getting the free apps on my phone, then when I open amazon on my Nook, the apps are there waiting to be downloaded. So I don't think that's an issue.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about that, I figured that was the case seeing how I get receipts in my email for the items but it is good to know for sure.

I'm in the same boat with the leaked 2.2. I've been running it for awhile, and like you have been hearing the (rightful) complaints about the official release. I too find it amazing that the leaked could be better than the official; but it is what it is. Personally, I'm just sticking with the leaked 2.2 for now; if I need warranty work I can always slap it back to 2.1.

Yeah that is pretty much what I was thinking, I just wasn't sure if I was missing something. Would that "superclean rom" include the navigator and such seeing how it is for the Mesmerize and not the Fascinate?

As far as the audio deal, I probably see it more than the average person because I use my phone to listen to books, music and podcasts on average at least 6-8 hours a day if not more, so I would imagine I am going to run into it more often. It is not that big a deal, it just pauses whatever I am listening to and all I have to do it unpause it, I asked more to make sure it is not something one of my apps is doing or if something went funky when I flashed it.

All things considered, being that is the only issue I have run into I am VERY happy with the leaked version and have no interest in the official version until it is a bit more ironed out.

Superclean has no carrier bloat. So no, I dont think it would have the navigation app (personally I've never used it, always prefered to use google navigation since it integrates with map searches I've done)
When I was running the superclean rom the only apps on my phone were the apps I had downloaded from the market. My phone was much more snappy and responsive so hopefully we can get it working.

Hmmm...no bloatware...as much as I like the Navigator, I think I could live without it if it means getting rid of all that other crap!!!

I am not sure I am liking this new update. Originally I had whatever was on the mez and then came across the update. Since installing the update I have had more issues than before. Maybe they are just quirks to me, but I find it irritating. When I am typing a text message when the mez is sideways, it will just go back to the original size, like before you touch it to get the keyboard and then will automatically take you to a black screen with whatever was just sent to you. Text messages also seem to back up and not go thru. Never had this problem until now. Not sure if I described this correctly...sorry. Also I noticed with the new upgrade, there are no photos from facebook on my text message's unless I add a picture specifically to that contact. I've tried selecting in each contact, but still nothing shows up. My phone also seems to freeze up much more and especially in the middle of games, it will take me back to the beginning. I love the phone, just not sure of this update and would like to maybe go back to the way it was. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I am not using it correctly. I forever was a blackberry user and decided to go android. Thanks.

I had issues with 2.2 and did a factory reset and that seems to have fixed all the problems. I love it now!
