Good lookin' out - it appears dev units are getting OTA Froyo updates. Not sure when this will be pushed to the public. Build is indeed DK28. Someone on XDA is getting a system dump of the update, and I will post it in ROMs/Hacks as soon as it becomes available. If this is an OTA update I'm assuming it's an official build, but I don't see any confirmation of this yet. If anyone wants to read through the 175 posts and try and find more info, you can do so here.

Awesome, we got a blog post. Link updated - thanks Phil!

Since it appears this OTA is a release candidate at best, I'm moving this over to the ROMs/Hacks section.

WARNING - THIS IS UNTESTED AND SHOULD ONLY BE USED BY PEOPLE WHO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

Here it is. From what I can gather from the posts on XDA and the file name, you must be on DI18 Eclair and flash this using stock recovery.

think i'm gonna bite the bullet and try it out, since it doesnt seem like this will be pushed out to everyone until next year.

It's not quite official yet - probably a release candidate. There still could be a revision before it is pushed to the public. It's very close though.
