My wife's phone just rebooted out of nowhere and I just checked to see why it did that and checked the OS version just for the heck of it and found out that she is now on 2.2!
Has HTC or Sprint started pushing the OS update without a user manually updating? She was on 2.1 and wanted to stay there until the new HTC patch was released to fix some of these 2.2 issues especially the wav support like in 2.1 and now she is a little pissed off as she did not agree to the update. Anyone else got the update automatically pushed?

That is odd... I'm thinking it ran in the background some how... I don't know how to revert back without losing information.

Yeah she might have the updates set to auto! I wish I could check it now but she is upset because she does not want me to play with hers. She says I change to many settings.:) LOL

What is up with all these "BUGS" in 2.2? I have had zero problems and I even updated to the .3 update early and just got the OTA to .6 two weeks ago.

and you can't set update of the firmware to auto.... You have to accept and agree to the update. Would seem to me she might have clicked "OK" with out thinking about it and it started downloading in the background... Then installed when it was done.... But it didn't just do it all on it's own with out user approval because it tells you to make sure you have X amount of battery life left before you do the update.... An auto update with out approval and having 10% battery life might cause problems...
