OtterBox has a habit of over-stretching. The outside wrap starts to loosen up a bit. They are also expensive

Agreed they are expensive, and my older Otterbox cases would stretch where you have illustrated. BUT Otterbox always replaced any case I had, for free..even shipping, unconditionally.

I always thought that company truly stood behind their product.

Yes they do stand behind their product, but why pay that much for a case that will do the same? I rather pay $19.99 for a case that protects my device, looks good, and has all the features that I need. i-Blason also stand behind their products.

But it gets annoying (to me, I don't know about to them) to keep replacing a case because a piece of string gets caught between the case and the holster. It's worth the extra $5 (look on Amazon) to have a holster that feels like it's made to be driven over.

I've been using both the Samsung S-View flip cover case and the rugged case. I switch them out whenever I feel like it, really :) Both have the pros and cons. I tend to get more compliments and questions when I'm rocking the S-View flip cover case because it really is a pretty case. (Not that I look for or crave the attention; it just happens sometimes.) The rugged case obviously makes it easier to whip out the phone and makes using with the stylus a little easier.

I must say I’ve had great luck buying the super thin clear or black cases for my phones on Amazon or Ebay. They may not protect the phones against dropping as well as the very thick expensive ones, but they have saved my a$$ a couple of times. They wear well, look good and I’ve had no issues with reception or charging. They generally are $11 or less, so you can afford to have a few and change them whenever you want.

Are you using the screenless otterbox defender, for the Note 9?
If so, how is it?

Not on a Note 9, but I've used it on every phone I've had since they came out. There's still one on my Note 3, and one on my Pixel 2.

I dropped my note9 perhaps 2 feet onto a tile floor. My esr case covers the bottom of the phone well yet my spen popped out broken in half. The spen couldn't possibly touch the ground in this case but it broke anyway. Not covered by insurance of course because it is considered an "accessory". Fortunately the phone itself is undamaged and VZW gave me a new blue spen for free. They only had blue.

I took this picture of the blue spen Verizon gave me for customer loyalty. I got a black one from Samsung as well but I paid for that. I'm using the blue one so the black spen will still he brand new when I sell my Note9.

The entire pen is blue, or just the button?

Just the button. It is called the "blue" spen but 80% of it is yellow

No the Gear 2 was the last with a camera AFAIK. It's one reason I haven't parted with it. The other is a functional ir blaster I still use!

I use the Rhinoshield Crashguard Bumper coupled with a dbrand black dragon back skin and a Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector.

I prefer a decent amount of protection and minimalist too.

I still have mine also with the camera , works good but don't like the hook up to charge it , big pain . Don't use watches that often but did like it because of the camera.
