Frustration - Screen Keeps Coming on In Pocket.

Screen Keeps coming on in my pocket effectively disabling the knock code, needing the backup passcode entered and then a new knock code created....This is happening constantly when the phone is in my pocket.....Driving me mad....Turned the lock screen to swipe & now all I hear is bleeping all the time as the screen still keeps coming on tries to unlock in the pocket. Anyone else experiencing this & have a fix?

Try turning the phone the other way round in your pocket so the screen is facing outwards and not against your leg

Hi,

I have ordered the quick circle case, but isnt available in the uk for another couple of weeks. A little worried about pointing the screen outwards from my leg when in my pocket....But will give it a go & see...

I am guessing its something to do with gestures....I nevered had this issue on my Samsung S3 which had the same style of bumper case as the G3

Having the same issue. Really damn frustrating. It shouldn't do this. Supposedly there are sensors to make sure it wouldn't happen. Anyone know if there's a software fix?

The proximity sensor might be malfunctioning. The phone should sense that it's in the pocket and only cone on for a second. You can test this out by putting your hand over the top of the phone.

Luckily mine doesn't have this issue, but I've seen some people complain about it. Must be a few bad sensors out there.

The g3 has issues with the proximity sensors in some models. I had to have my initial G3 replaced because it stopped working all together, very frustrating. Luckily my replacement has had no issues with it.
