Full page ads all of a sudden

I just started getting full page ads that come from nowhere. I'll be in an ap and it will just take over. It had a Google symbol when it starts but takes you to Facebook ad preferences. Driving me crazy. Example below.

Look Recent Apps.

Ad supported apps.

Adware.

Might consider running a malware type program

This is why I pay for Adgaurd. No more ads for me! But it probably is something you recently downloaded that sat for awhile before it decided to start throwing ads at you.

I am having the problem. I read that a factory reset and then installing apps one at a time is a solution. The ads are very annoying. I'm also getting floating balloon ads.

A rogue app or an app pulling in ads from ad server may be fine for even months.

The idea it being recently installed... a malicious app probably wants to hide to avoid suspicion until a later time.

Fake apps with hidden payload might be flashlight, photo retouching, a game... camera, OCR...

I run Adguard.com just to be on safe side, but ad-free if at all possible.

See if this helps.

Yesterday I "fixed" a friend's phone that was getting that same kind of ads. Using the Developer Options it took just a couple of minutes to find the offending app. In her case it was a crappy antivirus called Power Security.
Definitely delete all the ad scanners, virus scanners, Battery savers Facebook and messenger. Then clear the cache partition and reboot. If problem persists, enter safe mode. If the problem is gone, it's an app and you'll need to add back 1 at a time until you get it. As stated above, stay away from new apps with new reviews.
