I'm not sure why more attention is not being payed to the fact that the G3 allows you to completely take advantage of the full 5.5 inch screen by hiding the onscreen buttons! You can chose to do this in every app if you so please and without root which to me makes this the absolute best feature! Just a quick swipe up and the buttons are there when you need them, but otherwise full real estate. Something I desperately wanted with the G2 and any phone with onscreen buttons for that matter! Very cool feature indeed!

Sent from my LG G3, Samsung Galaxy S5, or my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro depending on my mood.

I agree, this is very nice. This is my first phone with on-screen buttons and I am impressed by the ease of use.

I'd rather have instant access to my navigation keys than having to swipe, then press. I've only hidden the keys on full screen apps that didn't properly hide them themselves.

I agree it's a wonderful feature...like having a cinema screen in your hands.

Yup, my first device with on screen buttons as well! I've been a Samsung hewer for the past few years is all I can say.

I've made a slight mistake but I can't let it go.

Settings > Display > Home touch buttons > Hide Home touch buttons, then select your apps.

The point is it is awesome to be able to tailor fit the experience. If you want total hidden on screen buttons, you can. If you just want certain apps, then you got it. My biggest gripe with my LG G2 was a lack of that function. I have all my buttons hidden in apps except for the main launcher screens. I can truly say I have a 5.5 inch screen when browsing, instead of a 5.3 inch screen with the buttons taking up room.

Love this feature. Use it primarily for games, but I also like it in the web browser and such.
