I used to own a Sony Z3 Compact phone.
When I charged it from a mains outlet, I had a notification pop up on my PC when it was fully charged (the phone was not connected to the PC).

Can anyone tell me how to get the same message for my S7?

Welcome to Android Central. I'm going to assume a "mains outlet" is a wall outlet. There is no way I'm aware of to get the message you saw from the Sony. Interesting question though...

You can get it if you have Sidesync installed on your PC and the phone is connected (this can be over same WiFi network). There is likely a similar function on the Sony, like Sony's PC suite that worked before for you creating that notification.

Thanks for the replies.
I've tried Sidesync. It does much more than I need and less than I want - a simple pop-up to say my phone is charged.

Thanks for the suggestions.

You just need it to be running in the background on your PC. When I get home and connect on wifi and my PC is on, it connects. I get popup notifications on my PC when my phone is fully charged. I'm on Win10 though if that has to do with anything.

If it's too much you can probably check notification pushers like Pushbullet.
