Fusing batterys

Why are phone company's starting to fuse the batterys to the cell phones now?

That's a fine question. I'd bet it has something to do with the manufacturers trying to make the slimmest phone possible.

Because I've noticed the new GS3, HTC evo, and the razzarmaxx all of those top of the line phones battery are fused now. At this rate every phone that's soon to come out will have a fused battery which means no more battery pulls.
