Android Central Question
I have an Archos phone that uses "Fusion Storage", which merges the internal memory and the micro SD card, so that the storage space on the SD card is opened up e.g. for installing applications. So far, so good.
The problem is that I think my SD card has reached the end of its useful life -- I can't delete files from it (get the message "File cannot be deleted"), my phone's internal storage is filling up, and I think I need to replace the SD card.
Unfortunately, under fusion storage I can't see which files/ apps are stored on the card, and which are on the phone's internal memory.
Does anyone know what happens if I disable/ undo the Fusion Storage? Is there a risk of data loss, or might certain apps stop working because they're half on the SD card and half on the internal storage?
I'm running Android 5.1, fwiw.
