Future dated update Nexus 5X

So yesterday, I went to check to see if I had a system update. It said that my system was up to date, but I was surprised to see that it said "Last checked for update on Dec 28". I thought maybe it was just a glitch so I clicked the "Check for update" link and the date stayed the same. Just curious if anybody else is having this issue. I doubt this is the case, but maybe there is an update planned for Dec 28th?

I have a stock Nexus 5X running Android 6.0 Baseband: M8994F-2.6.28.0.65 Build: MDB08L. The date and time are correct on my device and are automatically set.
