Fuzzy clock background

So I like the convenience of the home screen clock being the alarm clock but the fuzzy background bleeds onto my home screen picture. This wasn't an issue on my LG3. any suggestions?

Just got mine and it's the same. Hoping for someone who knows to come with some suggestions. In all the vids I watched before buying this, they all were perfectly transparent.
