Pre-Ordered mine from Radio Shack at Sixforks @ Wakeforest since it is closest to Downtown where I work. And apparently all Radio Shacks already have them in Stock in the store. I called around. And the guy at the store in North Raleigh said I could come tonight and get mine. But I'll wait till tomorrow so I can get the memory card straightened out in my old one.

Almost ordered at the store in Brier Creek since I am moving up there next week (just graduated NCSU), but everytime I have been there they have been nothing but clueless assholes, crossroads used to be the same, but apparently is under new management and have been GREAT the past 6 months or so.

Guys have any favorite stores in the area known for good service? I work in RTP and will be living in North Raleigh, would rather not go to crossroads for my main Sprint store.

Wow what a coincidence! I just graduated NCSU also! My parents live right off Six forks rd. I'm just going to go to the Sprint store here. This is my first time dealing with this particular store but I know one of the guys that works there. His name is Willie, he hosts Trivia night at Sammy's Tap and Grill on Tuesdays and Thursdays, maybe you've seen him in there. I'm hoping everything goes as planned on Friday.

i preordered mine at radio shack where i live in wisconsin day one you could preorder it. I hadent heard from them yet so i decided to call them and see if they had gotten them in yet.. he told me they havent gotten in any 3Ds yet.. can this even be possible? launch is 2 days away!! i told him to call me tomorrow if it comes in otherwise i was making plans to buy elsewhere.. anyone elsee run into this problem?

I preordered mine from the Sprint store near my house in Southern California a month ago. Hadn't heard anything from so I called yesterday and they told me they would contact everyone who preordered on Thursday to set up your appt. Friday cant get here soon enough!!

The Sprint store where I pre-ordered said that I could come pick it up at any time during the day I specified. I'm getting there early, I have to head out of town anyways & want to beat the traffic. In order of preference:

1. Sprint store in Bowie MD by the town center (where I pre-ordered - was able to get my OG Evo there last year even without a pre-order, I was signed up & out the door before the auth servers crashed LOL)
   
2. Sprint store in same general area, by the Target
   
3. Best Buy at the town center
   
4. Target
   
5. Radio Shack at the town center

Lot of Raleigh Folks here. Mine is pre-ordered from the Sprint Store on New Bern Ave. I have not heard from them about the status of mine, so they will be getting a call from me today. I wonder if they will let us pick them up tonite as well..

I pre-ordered mine about a few weeks ago through the Sprint store, did the $50 gift card thing and 2 different reps told me that I'm guaranteed one and that they put the pre-orders aside and keep them out of the general stock. I then got a call last week to set up my appointment which is set up for tomorrow(obviously). They said make sure I'm there on the appointment date or else I lose the pre-order and the phone gets put back in general stock. I hope that clears up some things for people.

I can also confirm, for a fact, that if you pre-ordered your phone through a Sprint Store with a $50 gift card, you will DEFINITELY get a phone on YOUR appointed day. Sprint should have called you and asked if you wanted to pick up your phone (schedule an appointment) on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. At that point, you can come in ANY time (even towards closing) on the assigned day of your appointment and pick up your phone. 100% guarantee. HOWEVER, if you miss your appointment day, it will go for sale to the public the following day.

Not that it matters at this point since I get mine delivered today, but my Sprint store has yet to call me about my reservation.

When i reserved mine the lady told me that they would hold it all day friday, if i didn't go in on friday they would put it back up for sale. Wasn't told anything about a call for an appointment or anything

if you preordered it online (premier customers), and do it before 2pm if im correct you will get your phone the next day. At least i did. I ordered mine online yesterday around noon, and mine just came an hour ago.. They next day it to you..
