G Pay Not Working

NFC is enabled and the phone just needs to be awake.

I tried paying today, kept moving it over the pay terminal and no response.

What am I doing wrong?

The NFC chip is at the bottom of the phone. Sometimes I have to stand the phone up on the terminal with the bottom edge touching to get G Pay to work.

All I had to do was move it two inches down and would've worked. LOL

I didn't know the NFC was located on the bottom.

It might have something to do with the merchant terminal. I tried at one place, twice in fact, and it wouldn't work. Then used it at a couple more and they went thru no problem.

That's been my experience too. I did not know the NFC chip is on the bottom of the phone, maybe if I hold the bottom of the phone over those terminals, it will work the next time I try.

I recently went back to the place it didn't work and they said they aren't using G or apple pay anymore. They couldn't get it to work right.
