G Watch and New Phone

I have had my G watch for months now, running fine on my Galaxy S4. But last night I upgraded to the LG G3 phone and am trying to get Android Wear on the phone to hook up with the watch, but it doesn't seem to recognize it. Do I need to restart the watch to get it to send out the "find me" signal?

I switched from a Note 3 to the Droid Turbo. I couldn't get it to connect. I could see it on bluetooth, but it would never actually connect. The Pebble worked fine. So I ended up doing a full reset of the LG G Watch and then it worked fine.
