G2 text link

Usually G2 came with more..,interesting options..in that textlink is good..its very useful to save contacts...addresses.go through maps easily....from message easilly...but i dont have that option. .I can't understand. ..how software differs. .. from a device to device.. i can see text link features in utube...for g2... but in my device is not there.. no settings allso....????any comments

Its only under the stock app. Go into the App, Settings, scroll down and use Text Link display checkbox.

Textlink is not there on D-803 (Canadian) devices either (also confirmed by comparing the manuals for the D-800 and D-803). An odd feature to be dropping amongst carrier variants -- at least one can understand some of the other differing features (tethering, etc.) varying by carrier -- but stuff like Textlink and picture Auto Preview...?!
