g2x 3G issues?

Does the Tmobile G2x supports 3G in india? As the phone has 2100/1700mhz AWS 3G bands.... is the g2x a world phone? meaning, will it work on every carrier that supports 2100mhz 3g band?
in india, the 3g bands are: 850/1900/2100.. So will i be able to access 3g on the unlocked g2x?

It should but I would check in the G2x fourm. I'm sure someone there will have a definative answer.
