G2x microphone specs/compatibility (skullcandy)

Does anyone know what mics are compatible with the G2x? I just bought a pair of Skullcandy fix buds and I was wondering if the mic is compatible with it. I want to know before I open the case and can't return it. :\

Has anyone had experience with skullcandy earphone mics and their g2x?
