Anyone else have insight on other retail establishments for this phone?

Obviously T-Mobile is selling it for $199 through them.

Wirefly is selling it for $149 through them.

Haven't found it listed at Costco, Best Buy, or Amazon yet.

I can confirm that Costco will carry it. I fondled the dummy of the G2x at my local Costco on Saturday. Don't know pricing yet, but I'm pretty sure the pricing will be $199, maybe a little lower if we're lucky.

Then you get all the other perks of buying from Costco, so I'm for sure buying it there.

Good to hear. Are they selling this as of 4/20 as well? Were you able to find that out?

What r the perks of buying a phone at costco?? This may influence my next phone purchase...

Costco usually gives free cases and a car charger if you get a phone with them(at least the one I go to). I also have a buddy who does the cell phone sales there. He said that you get 90 days to trade in your phone too. For example, if I get the G2x, I could return it for the HTC Sensation if it comes out within 90 days.

They said that they were hoping to sell it today. There might be a delay of a day, but I'm also hoping that they have it today as i'm planning on picking it up after work today.

They give you a case, a car charger, and a BT headset usually. They also waive the activation fee and the phones are usually discounted.

The guy at my Costco said I have 14 days to return everything, service, phone and all. He mentioned 90 days, but was not too clear on what that was for. In fact...I don't think i'm going to go back to him, I'll hit up a different Costco.

So just wanted to share: I printed out a copy of the Cellhub G2X page showing the price of $49.99, walked to the T-Mobile kiosk at my mall, showed it to him and asked if they would price match. He said "Sure"! So I am now the proud owner of a new G2X - total cost $49.99 + tax.

I know that other stores have better return policies and all, but if you're not close to any stores or too impatient to wait (me!), this is a good option.

$150? That's quite reasonable for all the gear they give you and the return policy. I won't trouble them...maybe. It would still be interesting to see if they price match anything since the cell phone kiosk isn't Costco persay, they're just affiliated.

I think $150 is pretty good too given all the reasons you stated. I'm going to check it out in person after work and see how good it is.

Just talked to the guy at Costco. They seemed to imply that they would do some pricematching but would not for the Cellhub price.

He also clarified that it was $150 after mail in rebate. A little disappointing, but there still is some compelling reasons to buy from Costco.

Yes, went to Costco and paid $199.99 for the phone. I have the $50 MIR that I will send in later. Got the free Car Charger and Bluetooth Ear Piece that they throw in as well.

All in all, I'm happy with it. I was doing an upgrade, so for $149.99 after MIR I'm satisfied.

(and I absolutely love this phone!!! - upgraded from the G1)

Did they give you a case? Any details on the 14 day return and the 90 day return policies?

Upon further review, yes there was a case too.

Standard Electronics Return policy from Costco of 90 days from purchase. The 14 day policy (as enforced by T-Mobile) on contract satisfaction is also in place.

Costco doesn't price match. They are selling the upgrade for 150 after 50 MIR. For a new customer or adding a line it's $150 with no MIR. All come with car charger, leather case and bluetooth.

Sinned17 - They don't sell the phone off contract.

Got my G2x for $150 with no MIR (I'm a new Tmo customer) Love the phone so far, going to android from iPhone is so liberating, i'm customizing everything. It's great.

What's not so great is the service so far, I get basically no signal in my basement where I am a lot when i'm watching TV, on the computer or working. This could be a dealbreaker and disappointing. The WiFi calling is great, I just wish it was incoming too...
