G3 Battery Drains faster if Qi Wireless cover is on

OK, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or if it's just me...

I have a rooted Verizon G3, and ordered a Verizon-branded Wireless Charge cover off eBay.

I've noticed though that if I have that cover on my phone, the battery seems to discharge much quicker that normal. And strangely, GSAM lists the battery drain as coming from the screen, even if the screen isn't on!

When I put the stock cover on, I usually manage just under or about 4 hours of screen on time. It's much less with the Qi cover.

Anyone else notice battery shenanigans with the wireless cover?

I purchased mine from a seller on Amazon and I haven't noticed this. I'll keep an eye on it though.

I received my Qi cover but still waiting for the LG Qi charger but I will compare the two for sure.

I have the qi quick circle case and if anything my battery lasts longer...
