G3 Front Facing Camera Issue - Wide Angle Stretch / Distortion

Thank you for your interest. I have attached two photos of a rectangular file cabinet. The photo from a parallel orientation of the camera approximates reality. The photo from the same distance, but looking down from slightly above distorts the shape significantly. it is worse with human beings. Apparently any deviation from parallel creates significant unwanted effects.

I have noticed this too someone had mentioned it before. It doesn't bother me because I don't take pictures downward? My g2 had it too and it never bothered me. I wonder why LG didn't fix this with the g3? If anyone knows how to fix it let us know, I think it might be the lens though

Trader and gummy, yes, mine is exactly the same, it's the laws of optics....the effect you get to some degree or other with wideangle lenses.

When I first got my g3 my front facing camera worked absolutely fine. I didnt notice any distortion or that weird pinkish bloom. Then out of nowhere i had a pink border around the screen and i now have the same problem as you. If i use snapchat its fine but through the camera app i get the distortion.

The pink border appears if you have flash on..uses the extra light of the screen as flash. If you turn the flash off the pink border gores away.
