I have finally decided to switch to Android after using iPhone for a long time. I almost pulled the plug to get Samsung Galaxy S5 but then I discovered LG G3 and looks like it is the best smartphone available at the moment. So, I want buy one. However, here is my dilemma:
I am currently with T-Mobile so obviously I want a model that gives me LTE with them. However, I want to have the option to switch to AT&T, just in case. Also, I travel to Europe frequently and over there I use the local carrier’s sim-card. So, my question is, which G3 model should I buy to get the LTE speeds both in the U.S. and in Europe?
Here are supported LTE bands for the G3:
T-Mobile (LG G3 D851): LTE 700 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600
ATT (LG G3 D850): LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600
Europe (LG G3 D855): LTE 700 / 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2300 / 2600
To me it sounds like I should go with the AT&T version, which sounds crazy since I am with T-Mobile?? Any thoughts?
