G3 or G4?

Looking to get one of these phones. Obviously the G3 is cheaper. Is there really that much difference in the phones to warrant paying more money for the G4?

The UI in the G4 is meant to be much nicer and responsive, and the camera difference is huge.

If you're not too bothered about either of those above then get the G3

Never buy old technology, if your budget allows them to for the G4, if your looking for just talk and text and some browsing here and there, I would personally get a much cheaper phone than the both of them

Three words. Camera. Camera. Camera. I upgraded from G3 to G4 ... I found it to be a huge upgrade.

People say the display is better on the G4. I like the slightly curved design and leather backs. But yeah the camera is going to be the biggest difference.

You really must be joking my friend...
G4 no questions asked

Camera alone is worth considering. Blows the iphone6 camera out of the water.

With everyone on here asking if they should dump their 2 or 3 month old brand new device every time a newer one is released, I can't believe anyone would consider buying a 1 and half year old phone except as a backup device. Get the G4. Best camera and battery life out there. If money is the problem, there are much newer phones for less, like the lower end 2015 Moto X (whatever they call that one). It's no where near near as nice and full featured as the G4, but way newer tech than a G3.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I may have to stretch my budget a bit and go for the G4.

Right so I did go for the G4 - 2 of them even! Both had screen coating issues so had to return them both. Probably gonna order the G3 now as cant take another chance on the G4 as the screens are obviously defective.

My mother has the g3. That's what made me want the g4. I love the camera and removable battery on the g4 which you can't remove the battery on the g3. Both are great juices but I would go with the g4

The G3 has a removable battery.

If you got both G4's at the same store, its likely they got a bad batch of G4's with screen issues. It happens. But not every G4 has that issue.

G3 is a bit smaller with same screen size for better one hand use. The G3 is still a great device, but if camera is important to you, then the G4 is the better choice.
