G3 or M8?

I had the g3 way earlier this year, then I switched to an m8, and now I have both. So now I'm debating on which one to keep. I really like them both and I don't see any of the problems on the g3 with the lollipop update that I've been hearing about. Can anybody help me make my decision?

It sounds like you've answered your question though, if you're happy with the G3 then I'd say just stick with it. I'm pretty satisfied with mine and plan on keeping it till the next G5 is announced.

Hmmm. I'll be receiving my AT&T M8 I won in a YouTube contest Tuesday of this week. But I also have my Sprint LG G3 that I won through an Android Central contest. But I don't do contracts so my LG G3 has never been activated with Sprint. I just use it as a mini tablet for games and media. My M8 will be my main driver running on Straight Talk through AT&T, which will be a major upgrade over my Moto G 1st gen on Boost Mobile. I'd like to know how you like the M8 compared to the M8. And my LG G3 hasn't had any problems on Lollipop.

Compared to the g3 it's a hard one, they both have different feature set. But I'll tell you the one thing I don't like about the m8 is the way it feels. I can't even pick it up without accidentally pressing something on the screen.

They will eventually get older and the batteries will need to be replaced and that's $20 with the g3 ... That would make the decision right there for me and is why I have it over the droid turbo

I would keep the HTC as I have the LG G3 and they don't seem to do well with the updates.

I'm glad you brought that up. Seems that the 5.1.1/sense 7 update the m8 was supposed to get, is is not gonna happen. They're bundling it with marshmallow now, god knows when that'll be.

As much as I want to keep the g3, I don't I can, just too many flaws. I tried to work through it with rooting and such, but its a no go.

What kind of flaws? Mine hasn't had a problem at all since launch. It's the first time in owning a smartphone I haven't felt the need to upgrade in a year. Still runs good as new

Sluggishness, runs hot, battery life ids unpredictable are my main complaints.

I do use gmail, but only for my personal emails. At work we use an exchange server. It is the work emails i would miss the most since i am more productive for receiving them

Sorry to hear that, I haven't seen any of those issues. Occasionally my battery drains a little faster than I think it should, so I go full BlackBerry and yank it out, pop it back in and its good as new.... I'm sure you've tried that though
