I scratched the camera lens on my Z Ultra and I'm thinking about a new phone. Since the G3 won't break the bank on att next, do you guys who have it still like it?
+1 the g3 is still an excellent device and I personally think that it will still be relevant for at least another year. I have all I could possibly want in a media device. Great battery life (for my needs....moderate usage), good signal/call quality, incredible display, great form factor.
With LTE and a good WiFi connection I get very fast speeds. Last but not least, charging times are great. I don't even plug my phone in at night anymore. Most nights I am around 25-30%. I plug it in when I wake up, and it's fully charged in 1:45.Can't see what else I could ask for. I say, if the price is right, go for it.
Oh, and one more thing, lollipop was an improvement for me. Just putting it out there.
After trying the iPhone 6 and Droid Turbo, I returned ot the G3. It's a great phone and the screen size is PERFECT for the size of the phone. It's so good now, that I am not even condering switching phones this year and I switch every year.
I just bought one from Amazon for a penny (Verizon 2 year upgrade) and have had it for a couple of days. I rooted it first thing so I could put Adaway and Titanium Backup on it. I ended up paying to get Nova Launcher Pro so I could do some other things that the stock launcher wouldn't do and after getting it all set up to my liking I'm happy with it. So far the battery has held up really well, especially considering it had the load of installing all my apps and all my tweaking.
My top two choices were the G3 and the M8 and I'm happy with my choice of the G3. Both are solid choices based on the reviews I read.
After using G2 for a year, I've just bought G3, and my feelings are kinda mixed up. G3 is just excellent smartphone, but G2 is so well balanced that I still have doubts is G3 worth extra money.
