G3 Text Messaging issues

First time poster, lots of good info here, appreciate all the help up to this point.

I am having an issue with my Verizon G3, sending and receiving text messages. Issue started about 3 weeks ago. Texts will hang when trying to send and incoming won't be received at all. Restarting the phone solves the issue for 1-2 hrs then the same thing happens. Did a hard reset last week and the issue was gone for 4-5 days. Have deleted lots of apps that I thought could be causing the issue, but no real change. Any info or advice on what to check would be appreciated. It doesn't seem to matter what messaging app I use, stock, MySMS, google I have the same issue. I am run Nova Launcher and Juice Defender as well as the normal gammet of apps.

I beleive this to be a connectivity issue, but not sure how to go about troubleshooting that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and agree that it's a connectivity issue, since it happens no matter which app you use. I'm far from an expert, but I've used mine for six weeks now with no problem like that. Are you using WiFi and network?

I'm having the same issue but I'm using the Verizon network extender. It seems to be a problem with Verizon. I'm going to try to turn off the network extender and see if that helps. Could also be my Wi-Fi, since I just changed its location.
