G3 vs. Note 4

The G3 and not leaving out my Z2 has won me over...OK my mindset is saying gowan get the Note 4...but the other part is saying what is wrong with either the G3 or Z2?

I must answer that nothing is wrong OK the Note 4 will no doubt have the 805soc and a Huge 4gb ram oh and that Amoled 2560x1440 screen. The usual Samsung Flair of innovation heart rate monitor, UV sensors and new camera features no doubt. It will be as efficient on battery as the note 3 or better..

No I don't want it (shut up yes you do) no i don't its not logical (screw logic)..

OK I'm going to go now and continue this debate in my head lol

Guaranteed after the unpacking event on Wednesday you'll have your credit card in hand :-)

The unboxing videos on Youtubd get me as well,I'm a goner after watching them almost zombie like in heading to the shops after watching them.

@Duncan1982. There may be a steam excursion coming your way next May. Perhaps you're not interested in steam for itself but those locomotives are mighty photogenic. By that time you'll be thinking, Shall I grab some shots with my Note 4, my Z3 or my G4?

I'm keeping the G3 but WILL be getting the N4. Why? Cause I can and I want one.

Now mind you, I might not be here for a while because being in traction (wife is going to beat me to a bloody pulp) at the hospital takes time.....

LG G2 and G3 both produce better dBm readings than Samsung. I love the reception. Samsung does well with their software but they have the worst signal strength of them all.

I think we call that an addiction. LOL

I get this from my family & friends every time I upgrade, "what was wrong with...?" I've shown how much I love the Samsung Galaxy S5 but I still upgraded and was forced to sell it. Guess what, a few weeks later (even though it was a trade), I have the 16GB iPhone 5S.

That may serve as a comfort to me when the N4 becomes available, and I have to forego it because of price. I shall be able to say, There may have been signal problems, so it's a good thing you didn't lay down £600 for it.

You wants to give them there Windows Phones a try while you're about it. I have the Lumia 1020....incomparable for photography and a lovely feel when using IMO.

The Note 4 will be an absolute over the top beast no worries about that, but keep in mind there are lot's of rumors out there that LG will finally release the Cat 6 version (the one with the Snapdragon 805) in Europe, so that's two incredible impressive phones right for the upcoming holiday season :-)

I had the Note 3 and would not go back to Samsung, I also like the size of the G3.

I did, I had the Samsung ATIV S for over a month. The tiles got my attention but the lack of apps was the reason why I sold it.

There will be more than two.... I mean, hell, you got the Note 4 coming out, a few from Moto, a Nexus phone (whatever the hell it ends up being, maybe two!)

We're going to be drunk in awesome devices this fall.

anyone have a change of heart after the unveiling?

I honestly think that in terms of design the G3 has it for this year...build is also great but the HTC M8 would get that crown.

I am however going to say that the Note 4 is a big improvement and with the metal introduced and that 2d glass front yeh its not bad and I like what they have done.

In terms of specs its very decent also with the 805 clocked at 2.7ghz and 3gb of ram (thought it might of been 4gb) but still great.. Bit stumped at the 64gb expandable but the N3 had the same but as we know that does accept 128gb cards.

I still have no reason to purchase although hmm nah I will pass I have the G3 and out of all its the one for me that has my attention still & I have my Z2.

Will hang fire until next year and see what that brings.

But good job Samsung its a better effort all round.

Only thing that interests me is the 805 and how the QHD amoled will look but other than that, nothing more. I would have to hold it in person to make a final decision really. As it is now, I'm very happy with my G3! :)

I've mulled over the Note series for a long time now. I guess I'm just not a stylus guy. The design of the G3 just makes it such a good pocketable and ergonomic phone that I would rather wait on the next generation of flagships.
