G4 freezing/crashing issues

Hello everyone, I got a new G4 just this year and it has already been acting up. The phone freezes one minute after it boots up every time. The only way for me to restart my phone is to remove the batteries and put it back in. I looked all over for solutions but can't find any. I have the latest update and everything on the phone. I haven't paid my phone off and it's already messed up :'(. Anyone got a clue?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is a slight chance your phone will malfunction and crash. I got the G4 in the late part of last year and my phone was working fine for 5 months until it started acting up. At first it started freezing and battery was draining quickly. then after a month, it started randomly booting up and eventually it died as a result of a hardware malfunction in the G4 H815 models and some others also. But then again, i should emphasize on 'slightly' again as your G4 might not even have the same problems I had.

Mine just bit the bullet too. Customer support offered a replacement asking very few questions.

Who should i call/go to? I went to my local verizon store and they told me they can't do anything about it.

They told me it was a hardware problem and they can't do anything to fix it. The only thing I can do is to buy a new phone, which I don't have the money for :'(

Shouldn't it still be under warranty

The workers at Verizon told me I didn't buy insurance for my phone. Am I still able to send it in to be fixed?

It has a one year warranty with LG.

So I called customer service and after hours of talking, they sent me a new phone to replace. Problem is the new replacement phone doesn't have a back cover. If i return my defective phone without the back cover, will they charge me?
