I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble. Anybody else having this problem? Does anybody know of a fix coming up for this?

Bluetooth is a pipe - there's no current specification for what flows in that pipe, or in what format it has to be. So any given phone may not work with any given car audio system. (And one that works may not after an update.)

As for the bad passkey, make sure the stereo is findable and look in the stereo's manual for the pairing code.

I found out that the Samsung s6 does the same thing. After a call to Pioneer for the car radio I got that fixed. After a call to Hyundai and T-mobile I got nothing from them. I downloaded a program called Auto Bluetooth and that seemed to help straighten it out. Now I can call from my Sonata , it seemed to have straighten out the connection I'm so happy. Thanks all
