G4 screen cracking in pocket.

Is this common with this phone? I had the m9 but this phone isn't as well built as the m9 was. I got 2 hairline cracks and I never dropped the phone. I removed the case to see if that's the problem.

Does it ever heat up a lot? Thermal stress might make the glass more prone to crack.

How hot? Painfully so? I think it'd have to get pretty hot to get to that point of increased stress.

Front pocket or back?
If back, do you tend to sit on the phone?

Front pocket it might crack dome more I have the slim armor carbon fiber case.
