g4 update on 3 uk

Is the g4 ever going to get updated to marshmallow? Kinda seems like it's not. Wondered if any of you lovely people knew the answer.

Most G4s have already received the MM update.

I also use 3, and neither my G3 nor G4 have been Marshmallowed. They are not carrier/network phones however.

Well you could got to this thread and see if you can find the kdz for you phone and upgrade it if you want.

But it hasn't been a pleasant experience for a lot of people. Marshmallow just wasn't very good on my phone anyway.

Got fed up of waiting, downloaded the latest marshmallow kdz and updated via LG UP.. Easy and risk free.. Plenty of tutorials on here or xda.. Just do it!

I really wouldn't bother. My battery since updating to MM has been awful. I've tried everything and still only get 3 and a half hours SOT at the most. I'm at the point where Ive just ordered an S7 yesterday. The G4 has been a love/ hate relationship for me. The only thing I'll really miss is the front camera. The bootloop problem, overheating and awful battery will be amazing to say goodbye to
