G4 won't boot past LG screen

[AC Question]

My son's LG G4 won't start up. It began by randomly shutting down then stuck on LG screen now will not boot at all. Will be replacing the battery today 9/2/16 as this cured a similar problem with my wife's and My LG G3. T-Mobile was no help and said they replaced a lot of phones under warranty after a software upgrade but won't replace my son's phone. I basically think they don't know what they are talking about. I have had this problem on all of the LG phones we have owned and will probably go back to an Apple. I love the camera on the LG and it is easy to use the phone. Not a power user so don't know how to do a safe mode boot or a reset but I'm sure I can look it up.

Mine did the same thing this past week. Wouldn't boot past LG and Verizon screen. Sometimes showed a weird white noise screen. Only noticed it reboot on its own once. Woke up one morning and it wouldn't turn on. But I'm with Verizon. Vzw said it was a software issue with LG and said LG was working on rectifying it. But they sent me a replacement phone even though I've had the g4 for 14 months. Back in service once again..
