G4 Youtube app problem

Has anyone else had this problem with the G4 that when you have a YouTube video paused and you plug your phone into the charger, or get a text or anything else that causes the screen to light up, the video will begin to play back again by itself? First time it happened it really took me by surprise because I wasn't even looking at the phone but I know I had paused whatever video I was watching. Then I noticed that it would happen again and I figured out it was from the screen coming back on, this has never happened on any other phone I've used though. I figure it is either a problem with the G4 itself or a bug with the YouTube app but I'm not sure as to which. Just trying to find some clarity in this little issue.
