G5 Getting Hot

Anyone experience your phone getting hot for no reason? I just had an issue where I was driving home and not using the phone. When I got home I grabbed my phone and it was really hot. In fact it wasn't responding properly. It was slow... so I pulled the battery and put it in the freezer. To now it has not happened. Wonder if it had to do with the Bluetooth connection.

The next time this happens, go to Settings>Battery to see if there's any one app that is using an inordinate amount of battery. Also, does this happen when you're in an area of poor cell signal?

Over all cell signal is poor anywhere I go. I will check the battery section when it happens again. Thanks

Is that because your carrier has poor coverage in your area, or does it seem specific to the phone (i.e., do other people on the same carrier have good signal)?
