G5 Won't Hold Charge

I bought my LG G5 new last November (2017). Ever since last week the pcan't hold a charge for ****; it goes from 100% to dead two to three times a day. Before this disturbing trend, my normal usage would get a full day off a full charge.

A normal day for me is listening to a music player w/ headphones, making sure the screen in on standby. If the screen isn't off I'm just doing light web browsing, like checking forums, searching eBay, Craigslist and similar sites, as well as reading articles. I make sure to keep the brightness at 40-50% on average; close to zero at night.

Anyone have any idea why this happening?

I was reading reviews of new battery purchases. There were more than a couple that said it's the phone and the new battery drains just as fast.

Is there some kind of App or battery test? There's one App called Kasperskey Battery Life that supposedly does something like this, but it says that when enabling the app, it records everything you type.. including credit card info and everything. That sounds WAY too shifty for me. However, every other similar battery App gets "this app is fake" ; "this is a scam" reviews.

You could get a multimeter and test the battery voltage.

I actually got one; never thought to use it for the battery. Just googled how to test it. Thanks.

Before I switched to Moto X4 a few weeks ago both my batteries would not not last a whole day both were worn it seems. I have mine since October 2016. When the battery dropped to below 20% the phone would just shut down with out warning.
