G6 Audio jack issues

Within the first month or so, my phone developed problems with the audio jack while having anything plugged into it. It has static, acts like it's unplugged and then continuously tries to pop up google voice assistant. That was around July last year. It's had this issue ever since. I've even tried cleaning it gently. Nope. I know it's the phone because anything I plug into it does the same thing. I have to use all bluetooth devices.

Has anybody else had any issues like this with their LG G6?

Nope, I've had mine for a year and have never had that issue. Should be covered under warranty?
