G6 B&H listing up

B&H listing is up for people who want the real LG G6 instead of the crippled carrier versions. No price and date as of yet but hopefully releases on April 7th like the carrier versions. Anyone know how updates are on the US unlocked LG models for previous flagships? Are they like Samsung who bends over back to carrier and ignores the unlocked US models over the carrier models. Or do they update the unlocked models faster or atleast worst case at the same time as carriers?

Ok someone else mentioned on Reddit that LG is also same as Samsung, basically ignored the US unlocked models with any update and lags the carrier models in terms of updates. SMH

The G5 from BH works on Verizon, updates are as slow as you can get.

Most likely since I believe the unlocked G5 and V20 US models sold on B&H works with all carriers. But doesn't looks like there is much advantage buying the US unlocked non carrier models since they gets updates slower than carrier models.

Yeah we know we are just talking about carrier firmware vs non carrier firmware. Sim unlock is no big deal, all Verizon phones are sim unlocked as mandated by FCC and you can pretty much get any phone sim unlocked with a few bucks.
