G8 Display distortion?

I just got a slightly used G8 thinQ in mint condition. Using Vzn service and it updated fine to Android 10. But I see a bad halo effect on white text. It is like when you setup a new vid card on a pc and the driver for it is not installed and you have a slightly distorted color resolution/separation.

Anyone else see this issue with the 10 update....or is this screen just not as good as my G7 thinQ? I have the same issue no matter the resolution and I am not using any of the screen effects like comfort view and the screen color is set to auto....and I notices no diff when using other settings there.

I had to turn down the sharpness setting. Under Display/Screen Color/Expert settings you can manually configure certain settings. Don't know if this will help, but it's worth a shot.

The screen on the G8 is an oled which is more likely to smear then an lcd from what I understand. Sometimes turning down the resolution can resolve the issue
