G8 microphone in speakerphone doesn't work

Hi
I upgraded to Android 11 and dropped the phone around the same time a few weeks ago.

I recently noticed that when I make a call and want to use speakerphone, the recipient can't hear me. Without speakerphone, it's all good. Additionally, I can use voice recorder just fine and I can use voice to text just fine.
Does the G8 have a separate microphone just for speakerphone use that may have gotten broken in the drop?

Welcome to Android Central! Phones pretty much always use a separate mic for the speakerphone -- typically the secondary mic at the top of the phone.

Try recording a video with sound, and then play it back and listen using headphones. If you only hear sound in one ear, then your secondary mic is probably damaged.

Check your microphone doesn't haveve dirt or build up
