Gingerbreak runs phone reboots but no root y?

Sometimes the root fails. Try it again. If you have ZV9. Give up.

When rooting my wife's OV, it wouldn't do it until we inserted a freshly formatted SD card, then it worked like a charm. She had the factory supplied 2GB card in before, but it wouldn't do it.

Edit: just to clarify, I was referring to GingerBreak, like the OP. No ADB needed, if you can get it working.

I dont have zv9

If you have baseband ZV4 you can also try superoneclick which requires a PC

Otherwise just keep trying Gingerbreak as it can take a few tries

Gingerbreak app says rooted but super one click. Fails

Are you running the shell root of SuperOneClick, and do you have the LG drivers install?
