Hi there,

I just bought a manufacturer refurbished Galaxy Tab S4.

The problem is it keeps randomly rebooting.

I had a quick look and this thread shows how to do it for another Samsung tablet:

https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...y-my-tablet-randomly-rebooting-resetting.html

1.) I don't have an SD card

2.) I've booted to safe mode but it still reboots randomly.

3.) The Tab S4 doesn't have a physical home button so I'm wondering how I can boot it into recovery mode?

4.) If it still reboots after clearing the cache partition then I suppose my only option is a factory reset?

Has anyone else had the same problem?
Is there any other way other than those listed above to resolve it?

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Tab4 10.1 forum (a much older model) to the Tab S4 forum.

Here's how to boot into Recovery: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/de...s4/wipe-cache-partition-samsung-galaxy-tab-s4. You could try wiping the cache partition first, but if that doesn't help, then I agree with a factory reset. If it still randomly reboots, then it might be a hardware fault. This might be why the tablet was returned in the first place. Not all problems will be caught in the refurbishment process.

Thanks guys I tried all of the above but it's still happening, it must be a hardware issue. They have agreed to let me return it.
