Galaxy 6 classic won't backup

Hey guys, so I'm on day four of my watch and it will not back up. There's no option to do a backup now, it won't back up while it's charging at night etc. Is anyone else having this issue? I was on the chat with Samsung and they said an update is coming. I just wondered if anyone else is having a problem with backups.

The only way I got the the watch to back up was to reset it, it did a backup right before that. But then it wouldn't restore from the backup. it said it was unavailable.

Did you enable smart switch? Mine didn't until I enabled and set up when I set up the watch. Historically, I've always had issues with my Galaxy Watches doing backup automatically.

I believe I did click the okay button when Smart switch came up in the setup. But I'm not exactly sure. I have Smart switch on my phone but when I launch it it just says I can copy data from my phone to another phone
