Galaxy 8 note is asking for password

I set it up with face recognition, now apparently because I haven't used it for 24 hours it is asking for my password. How can we get round this? Help!!!! Please

Enter the backup password you used when you setup Face Recognition. It can't set that up without a backup password. Biometrics are just links to that "backup password". All it is are just an autofill technique where it associates your biometric to that password anyway.

Ummm.. No. You have to remember the password. Do you have a Samsung account? You can reset things from there if you do (and that's reason #1 for having that account set up).

did you set up a pass code? mine asks for that sometimes. it's usually four characters, I think. think back to the day you set it up. try to visualize the steps you took for security.
