Galaxy A5 Custom kernel and Advance USB Settings

I have the phone with the following specs

Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F) (Dual Sim)
Android Version (5.0.2)
Qualcomm 4G
Fully rooted
Installed Twrp Recovery

Now i read a guide at xda developers in how to Enable all LTE bands for qualcomm devices.

the guide sasy it will only work on custom rom and custom kernel. where can i get a custom kernel for my device? (i searched xda,there was one but had loads of bugs)

Additional Info: i am going to install/Flash custom rom CM 12.1 (ANDROID 5.1.1)

Also How can i access advance usb settings? I want to change AP TO CP
