I didn't really notice any updates on the Alpha release date in the US.

I read a rumor on some tech site that it might be coming to America in October. Nothing definitive though. If Canada gets this you'd think America would too.

Update: I'm hearing Q4 AT&T. Perhaps T-Mobile too.

That's good news however that price is a bit high.
I was hoping for $99 on contract.

I'll have to check it out in person before deciding.

Alpha appears to have everything I need in a phone now that I have retired. If it was available on Verizon, it might have been a keeper.
