Galaxy Apps

i keep getting a notification that a galaxy app needs updating but when i click on it, it says all apps are up to date. then when i get a notification that 2 apps need an update, when i click on it there's only one app that needs update. why do keep getting that false notification and how do i stop it?

Go into settings, applications, then find the galaxy app. Clear cache and data then reboot.
