Galaxy Buds Live, anybody try them?

Yeah, I've been checking the reviews too. your right Samsung buds +, on Amazon reviews are not to good.
I saw the Sony's on Amazon. But I want buds not, the big over the head ones.
WF1000XM3s are buds

First impression is that these may obviate the need for the Bose noise-cancelling headphones I've been using. They are impressively compact. When the Buds Live arrived today my first thought before I opened the container was, 'They're in here?!'
Have you tried the NC yet?

Once I acquaintanced myself with the controls, yes. I found the procedure on one of Samsung's help pages. I have tinnitus from years of exposure to industrial noise (even with wearing hearing protection) and the effect of the Buds Live with noise-canceling even mitigated some of the tinnitus manifestations; pretty good trick.

I checked the reviews on Samsung's page and they were horrible. Someone already told you the Sonys are buds.

What don't you like about them?
What earbuds do you recommend?

I find them ok but some songs could use a little more bass. If you're not an audiophile them the Buds+ are fine. To get some better sounding buds you would have to shell out some money. I got the Sennheiser MTW 2 which are $300, and B&O which were $350. Jabra 75t are cheaper and a step up above the Buds+

Buds are never going to deliver audiophile sound quality, though some are better than others.

Given that the only HD audio codec that Samsung offers is LDAC, the Sony WH-1000XM3 on-ear headphones are a great option--it has a V-shaped sound curve.

There is an upgrade but if you can get these I n sale, I wouldn't recommend spending g the extra money on the upgraded ones.

I spent days going over the reviews for the Buds +, Jabra 75t and the Sony WF1000XM3, and then Amazon dropped 50 bucks off of the Sonys so I bought them. The sound is unreal, I'm glad I got them. The Samsung had such bad reviews.

How is sound when talking on phone?

Sony wf-1000xm3 are superior to everything out there when it comes to sound and the ANC but the buds are just fine for YouTube, podcasts etc....

I really want the buds live because they don't seal in my ears. I keep getting a blocked right ear and ear infections in it. I found that using the buds+ made it worse. The non-invasive fit of the buds live would be more comfortable for me and I wish I had known they were coming out before I bought my buds+. But I will give them to my husband if I get the live. It is a cost issue for me right now.

I have only had one call and on my end the sound was great, I was at work on a noisy construction site. I don't know how it was on the other end of the call but I wasn't ever asked to repeat any information. I'll have to call my wife and see what she says.

Well if no one ask you to repeat yourself, must have been ok. 😊

Gonna read up on them.

Thanks

The reviews on Amazon aren't good for calls, but it worked for me. It might have a lot to do with the settings, how high you have the noise cancelling turned on. Complete noise cancelling really seems to change the way the sound is processed, which makes sense.

I agree.

I'm also looking at Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro.
Anyone have input in them?

Flossy Carter, gave these and the Sony wf1000xm3 a very good review.
Couldn't find his comparison of each other.

***update, Flossy said he liked the Sony ones best.
