Not surprised. Forget all the features and specs, when it's only compatible with the Note 3 and 10.1 (2014) how can it succeed.

I will never get these Smart Watches, it's a very expensive ACCESSORY for your Super Phone.

How much is this again, $300? Just think another $50-$100 you can buy "back-up" to your Note 3 (or in my case a back up for my back up, LOL) like Google's nexus 5!

Fail.

We say that right now about smart watches and even Google glass. I think it's awesome that smart watches are becoming more an option and each company is trying to develop it more and push the envelope with them. Would I use one, probably not because it doesn't fit my needs. But I'm not gonna knock any of them for trying. In the technology business it's all about the future and sometimes some things don't make sense now, but they can lay the foundation for something else. We have access to more options than we did even 5 years ago. I'm excited to see what each company is going do next.

i dont knock the idea. although, granted, they could def improve on the idea, im knocking the price. $300 for a watch, that just shows me updates on my phone, that i still need to look at anyway, is insane to me. thats the price of a whole other phone. if it was cheaper, and of course compatible with more devices, i think it would do way better.

I will wait for later iterations, it is expensive, big, and short-lived (battery wise). Maybe future ones can get better and cheaper.

But kudos for samsung to bring this to the mass. Apple fans tend to be sour grapes, if its not Apple, they would wish the product to fail, then step on it and yell "I told you".

I know many individuals who pay up to $500+ for a wrist watch that only tells time... Also, you save about $50 when you buy an open box one from those best buy stores...

From My GalaxyNoteIII

I still want one. I am fine w/one day battery. I don't need it when I'm asleep.

Now coming up with another $300 after buying my super phone and a box full of accessories...ouch!

And if you get it at the discount, of $209, you save a lot more.. For the $299+taxes, I don't think I would have pulled the trigger on it. But, for the $209+taxes, it was a no brainer.. :D

What discount is this? I would pay 2 bills for it, but not 3.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of people bought this device thinking it would work as a standalone product. Only to find out they needed to also own a Galaxy Note3 in order for it to work.

That would be pretty stupid honestly. Shouldn't you do some research before you go out and buy a $300 device?

I thought that to until I sold my S4. Made the $300 just a bit easier to swallow

This doesn't surprise me. I've always disliked the idea of a "smart watch".

A lot of folks returned them to re-buy them for $209 via the Tmobile deal.

Myself included:)

Someone claims to have a "leaked" document from Best Buy yet doesn't post the actual document. I also don't think buyers were either smart enough to figure out the limited device compatibility or simply didn't ask, it was announced to work with the GN3 only and the GN2, GS3, GS4, GM5.7 & GM6.3 to follow with 4.3 update. I only returned mine to Verizon so I could try and get it on T-Mobile at the cheaper price of course we all know how that went for everyone. I went into BB today to get one but the T-Mo codes are now all dead so I will just wait for the holidays or some rainfall cash before getting one. But I will get one I found it useful and a nice add-on. I would like it cheaper who wouldn't.

Return rate of 90% of the time is the cost & the fact you could return & I'm sure everybody wants one, but not at $300 F dollars! Not enough functionality Period! I have paid $500+ for a watch & it made me feel a lot better than a double size hunk that nags me to fire up the Note 3 ;) Sony SmartWatch 2 seems like a better deal ... but that price is up from before .... neither are worth it. I and 905% of others have no problem looking at their phone & responding like they should! The key point here is RESPOND! I am sure a lot of people who, don't care anyway about responding, would love that they got nagged 300+ a day by their watch that has absolutely no functionality with out some connection to the device you should be communicating through anyway!!

Cheers, Jon

Wow, such hostility about an inanimate object. Why are you telling other adults what they should do? If I want to buy a $700 phone and a $300 accesory to use with it, why do you even care? I didn't use your money to buy these things with.
