galaxy gear and mega

I saw announcements where the new Galaxy gear will be compatible with the s3 s4 Note 2 and note 3 does anybody know if it will work with the mega?

just a question, since i read that the gear will work with android 4.3, as both megas will be updated to kitkat, shouldnt they work?
